Noises on my roof
Satyrs dance with cloven hoof
Reveling in youth

This digital age
Unites, informs yet divides
Leaves no room for soul

Here, the truth revealed
That “Nothing” is unstable
And gives way to “Is”

With a bird’s eye view
Glimpse what we’ve done and will do
As a top down truth

Paradise slash Hell
Is exactly your life now
You can choose which one

Cold skin and fast heart
Warmed and calmed by the Spring sun
Will be cold tonight

Fornever we dream
About living when we’re dead
Dying while we live

Born as announcements
End as obituaries
What is in between?

Somewhere beneath love
Time and erosion...flowing
Washing away all

All the things we do
Happiness, anger and blues
Really just old news

Moon is reflected
Off of a neighbor’s rooftop
And filtered through trees

Blink, busy bluebird
Flutter, fling off frozen frost
Wash off Winter wings
