Spring Frog

A lonely tree frog

In the dark lonely distance

During early Spring

Shining, Fleeting

This shining moment

Full of happiness and light

Is all too fleeting

Mind Blossoms

In the poet's mind

Cherry blossoms swirl around

As ink stains paper

Spring Wind

A swift whipping wind

Coils around houses and trees

During early Spring

Heart Season

Basking in the sun

For the first time this season

Heart is warmed again

Vastness

Contemplating life

Immensity of time, space

Leaves me overwhelmed

Orange Is The New White

Questionable hair

Questionable policies

He's our president

Flying Peanut

Lovely blue jay lands

Picks up another peanut

And then flies away

About Time

He dusts off his pen

Puts it to paper again

The words creak to life
