For Donna

The teacher's wisdom
Still shines in what she taught me
With her words and deeds

Forge Ahead

Dignity, courage
No matter what may happen
Is all that matters

Friday The 13th Butterfly

Butterfly, sunning
Slowly fluttering its wings
Basking and shining

A Haiku For The Determined

Whether you have tripped
Or someone has pushed you down
Just keep getting up

Momentary Butterfly

A flicker of light
Flutters across my window
White against the green

My Musical Friend

Carolina wren
Sitting in a holly tree
Serenading me

Fresh Ideas

The same old thoughts swirl
Stagnant in the mind's whirlpool
Time for something new
